Shutter Click & Chat 11/30 and more

Meet the giant rattan tea kettle-yes, it was on clearance for $12.00. I think it's fabulous. Huh? Used for? Silly, this is a work of art, an adornment if you will, for our toast and coffee station. My grandmother thinks it's "purty", thank you very much! What have you got? Come on, we all have something!

Shutter Click & Chat 12/7 December, already?! Theme: Winter

NaBloPoMo No mo'! Yes, this is my final blog post for NaBloPoMo November. It's been a blast, and if nothing else it has certainly kept me looking at everyday happenings in life as potential blog posts. I'm not signing up for December instead, I am focusing my energies on my first zine! I'm very excited about this new venture, it is something I've wanted before I even knew what a zine was. My own little publication, now isn't that what it's all about? I've been reading, collecting and silently critiquing some works of fellow zinesters. I'm ready to have a go of it, I'll keep you all updated of my progress.
Peace

A zine!?!!! Yay! I can't wait to be a faithful reader.

From one word-lover to another, have you discovered the game "Apples to Apples" yet? It's been around for a few years now, so you probably have, but just in case....

It is SO FUN! Just played last night with hubby, daughter (23) and (hopefully serious) boyfriend, and 1 of 2 sons (the 17 year-old). Discovered that son and potential son-in-law (yes, I really like him!) have same warped sense of humor.

I think I have a secret love for most things rattan so your grandmother isn't alone in thinking this kettle is "purty".

Yay for zines! You will definitely have to let us know what your focus will be.

I love that kettle. It looks like a samovar, although a bit bulkier. Agree on the decoration bit totally. Not to be used, just to be admired.

Greetings from London.

Wow, how exciting! I am fascinated by zines and in the back of my mind toy with the idea of creating one someday. I am really looking forward to hearing more about yours!

Awww....sorry I didn't join in this weekend. I think this might take the cake though!

Cannot wait for a T-zine! (What are you going to call it?)

First off that teapot is too cute. Using it for actual tea would be a disservice to it. Some things are meant to be looked at and others to be used. The wicker teapot is all about being admired!

Now to the real stuff...your own magazine? That is so awesome and sign me up. I love you writings and I can't wait to see what you come up with in your publication.
