Shutter Click & Chat 11/16 Friendship

This is my favorite commercial! I can so totally relate. While it may be difficult to believe, I wasn't always the refined, exemplary model of style and poise that I am today. Long ago, even before the time of the Favorite Guy there was a special someone who brought color to my awkward adolescent days. Whether that color was an attribute of her buoyant personality or, our royal blue eyeliner, matching mascara, and Wet & Wild iridescent hot pink lipstick, deliberately escapes me right now.

Christina and I have been friends for over 25 years. We've outgrown slam books, DIY hair and eyebrow fiascoes, and pranks involving large Chinese food orders for delivery to the neighbor's house. Don't be fooled, we're no less prone to acts of impropriety. This picture was taken at a Mexican Bar & Grill, it's our version of the Table Tango. Music was supplied by the in-house Mariachi band, per my request. We would've actually danced if we could stand! And you, what do you like to do with your friends?

This is a great opportunity for all of you lurkers to join the fun! Yeah, you!

I love your shutter click and chat sessions. It's a little licenced window into your soul :-)

I'm celebrating my birthday today and you're more than welcome to pop by my blog for a relaxed and chill-out jam session on piano, guitar and vocals.

Greetings from London.

I love the photo. True friendship is like diamonds precious by rare, flase friends are like autumn leaves found everywhere." Growing up I would read that quote on a daily basis in my great aunt's kitchen. The words still hold true.

Thank you for sharing your lifelong friendship with us.

you are my window into a mystery generation (younger than me, older than my kids)....slam book!? Now I know....

Things to do with friends: drink coffee, discuss kids, books, life, shop, walk, vacation, watch movies, play Texas hold'em, dance, listen to music, craft together, share garden chores....

Now that's the kind of fun I'm talking about!! And who didn't love Wet n Wild makeup? Everything was and still is just .99 or 1.99, lol.

Haha!! Love that commercial. It helps that it looks exactly like something that Sebastian would do. The only friends I have that span that much of my life are my sister and my cousin, Penny. I guess I'm too bitchy and picky to stay friends with anyone else for a really long time. Such is life:) Love the picture of you and Christina.

I've never seen that commercial but those dance moves were hot!! This commercial is my new fave. Have you checked out the one with Janelle Monae for the new Gap Christmas ad? It's really cool.

The picture with your girlfriend is so reminiscence of my past soiree. Yes, we called are parties soiree because we were cool like that...wink-wink!!

All of my girlfriends were just as broke as I was, so we would do soiree on the cheap. We had foreign movie night and midnight bbq's on the regular. We would've taken pictures but we were drunk..hee-hee! Yeah, we had a blast. Foreign movie night was my favorite because everything revolved around the country the movie was made in. Sangeria never tasted so good!!

Nothing like having good people around to share your life with. Sometimes we forget that until they are gone. You, on the other hand, are blessed to realize this truth before it's too late.

Nice advertisement! This was the 1st time I've seen it.
