Shopping Shadows

Yael: "Mom, I'm already almost as tall as you are..."
Me: "Cool! Does that mean you're paying?!"

After a long work/homeschool week, Yael and I took our shadow searching/shopping selves to the streets of gorgeous 72 degrees Goodyear Arizona. We were in search of sales. Summoned first, by the siren song of Starbucks, we made our way- avec two lightly sweetened, venti green teas, satchels in tow, we sauntered the strip mall; store to store, sale after sale until we struck gold in dem dar' aisles. "Sweet", said le petit shopper-"Saved", said the already overspent chaperon. Shadows we shot and away we went.

This post has been brought to you by the letter "S" and Hey Harriet's Shadow Shot Sunday.

Peace

OMG! I love it. You at your "mini-me", lol. Not so mini in silhouette. I LOL @ "dem dar' aisles", I saw my aunt's face when I read that.

That's a great pic! I found a great winter jacket for my oldest, Aja yesterday. It was $10.00:) I think I'll go out and get myself a pair a jeans for Homeschool mom's night out tomorrow night. Isn't it cool we can go out on Sun night because they don't have to run out to school the next day.

Love it! I enjoyed a wonderful chai latte from good old Starbucks this morning myself as my daughter and I headed out for a day of wedding stuff! It was wonderful and it wasn't quite as warm here as in Goodyear, but I'll take the 50 we had in the middle of winter any time!

Love the silhouetted shoppers. I took my daughter for her first real shoe shopping experience this morning. She cried at the measure-up, however was very excited to see herself in the mirror admiring her new sandals. 'Pretty' she said ;)
