Shutter Click & Chat 1/4

A Self Portrait

Me. In the morning. In my usual Anemic Mom Couture: a hoodie and pajamas. (and of course, Naturally Natalie's vegan peppermint lip balm)

Next week...no judgements please! See, American Idol is one of my few guilty pleasures and the season begins on the 13th. So, I was kinda thinking we should all go virtual shopping for our audition outfits and the song that will send us to Hollywood. Oh stop, you know you love, love, love it!

Shutter Click & Chat 1/11: Hollywood Baby! And don't forget your theme song. Who's in?

My sisters and mum are into the UK - X Factor! Mmmm now what could I sing :) (if I could sing)

Oh, you REALLY don't want me to sing. Even in the shower. Babies cry and geese wonder which of their flock is being slaughtered.

I'll enjoy seeing what the rest of you decide on though. :-)

Thanks for your wonderful blog review! It's nice to know you enjoy stopping in for a visit.

You totally don't have to sing (at least I'm not) just choose a song that you would sing-if you could sing!

T: our stylist must run on the same juice (fleece tops & sweats nod to the different clime).

I'm not surprised you love Lizz -- great voice and her style reminds me of your jewelry (don't you love all the earrings on that video!!??!)

Can you believe it? Live concert tickets for $25 in a fairly intimate theater (about 350 seats). That should brighten up a dull Feb evening!

After re-reading my previous comment, I wanted to be clear about what I meant.

I'm wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt (too), only mine says (in very large letters) Woodburn Dragstrip (and in smaller letters) Championship Drag Racing.

Yeah....

Singing. Hmmm... Used to do that when I was a child. Even won competitions. But now, only when I'm doing the washing up :-).

Greetings from London.

Hey Tameka, How you doin'! Good Morning!

I'm sorry I'm not an American Idol fan at all, but I would sing "Don't Cry Out Loud."

If only I looked as good as you do in the mornings!

As for American Idol, I'm hooked on that show too! I guess I didn't realize it started on the 13th already so I'm excited to find that out!

The 13th, huh? Well, I LOVE American Idol too - can't wait to see it and chat about it!

First off, you are so pretty T. even in morning gear.

I'm a huge American Idol fan( don't judge me ) too. I would sing 'beautiful' by Christian Aguillera..( don't judge me..wink-wink). No, I can't sing and yet I have no shame. I sing on the daily, loudly and completely out of tune. Now you can judge me!!

american idol? you'd better believe it...i'm there! i don't sing, and if i did, i'd probably end up on the annual "blooper show", so no need to go there.
thanks for visiting me over at my blog...i LOVE to see new faces and meet new people! :)

I think you look great in your "anemic mom" gear:)

I too will stay away from the singing part, that could be scary! But I will stay tuned to see what everyone picks.

Does AI really start this month? Can't wait!

You look pretty cool and comfy to me. Is that going to be your AI outfit?

I'm going to sing Brandi Carlisle's "The Story". If I can get that growly voice down right in the middle of the song, I'm a winner!

Don't know just what to wear yet...have to consider that.

Work that Anemic Mom Couture girlie =). I have on a similar version right now! Uh huh, it transitions from the house to the grocery store, lol.

I'm gonna be ready for audition next week!

Well aren't you a cutie!

I would have been terrified to do a self portrait...I was never photogenic and don't seem to be improving with age:( But next weeks sounds fun! I'll have to check it out...if not play along.

thanks for stopping by the blog today. Yes, dark gray is a hideous color for a bathroom.

You look a whole lot better than I do in the morning. I could scare small children.

Awww, don't you look sweet. You look very comfortable. American Idol? If I had to choose a song to sing it would be "I Feel For You" by Chaka Kahn. That is one of my all time fav songs. Either that or "Layla" by Eric Clapton.

oh goodness. i need to get back on board with shutter click and chat. i'll see if i can come up with something.
