Overjet, Malocclusion and Diastema

Wow! Well that was once me; a bucktoothed gal with a gap; playground agent codename: "Bucky Beaver". It was hardly as original as it was annoying. Trust my use of expletives and accompanying gestures were honed fairly early on! I called my mom and asked her to mail some pre-cosmetic dentistry photos. She isn't generally cooperative, so we shall see.

I found this delightful little shop, Busy Beaver Press and these Twig pencils while e-traipsing through Etsy for a treat. I have on many occasions been known to engage in retail therapy. This therapeutic shopping usually takes place just before a new endeavor and/or the subsequent adventure.

I purchased these pencils a few weeks ago when I decided I'd get back to writing. There's a vulnerability and penetration of thought that just doesn't come across the same on a keyboard as it does with a pencil. Perhaps, writing; the physical act of seamless scrawling, awakens my inner buck-toothed child. If this proves true this project will be an adventurous endeavor indeed.

Peace

i've always had a pencil fetish, and those got me lusting.

regarding playground torture, i got all the typical ones: four eyes, coke bottle glasses, fish eyes, etc. funny how that stuff can stick with you on a subconscious level even as you grow older. damn brats.

happy writing!

Those are some cute pencils. Sometimes just the right writing pen/pencil or just the right pad/notbook/journal is all that is needed to get the juices flowing.

Ah, to be able to scribble just a little, instead of being so darn dependent on this mac. I do have a little notebook full of funny sayings I've overheard on my journeys, mostly from the mouths of babes. This pencil would be right nice... alas, the 6-year-old, who is obsessed not with pencils, but sharpening them, would get a hold. It would be ugly. But I'd like to see her try... that, in itself, would be worth the price.

Happy writing!

I love the pencils although they look a wee bit painful to use. But is it really art without sacrifice and pain?

I love your comments about the mean mini arseholes who called you bucky the beaver. Mean kids suck! I was called Olive a la' Popeye and 6 o'clock for my pencil-like figure. Although I've grown in age and weight I still carry with me the injury of those years. Good times!

Nice shot of you holding the pencil. Very provocative.

I like your idea of writing with pencil to paper. I may have to just give that a try.

Love the pencils.

Sorry about the Bucky Beaver comments...kids can be sooo cruel.

Imagine if you will, the play on names Charmaine received.

Do you remember the Mr. Whipple commercials for Charmin toilet paper?

"Please don't squeeze the Charmin"...uh huh...complete with body squeezes.

Or how 'bout a play on historical names: Champlain & Charlemagne... yeah, it was all a blast.

I can always count on you to send me on a happy trip to Miriam-Websterland! ... About the writing, I recently started writing more consistently in journals. I used to keep diaries, but never really use them. Blogging has actually been the catalyst. Everything I wouldn't dare tell the public gets written down in my journal.
