Phoenix Pride 2010

Family Time: Phoenix Pride 2010

The Favorite Guy and I seized the day and took off downtown to the 30th annual Phoenix Gay Pride Festival. It's the first LGBT event we've been to since leaving New York City where we were regular attendees. We had a great time celebrating diversity, people watching, dancing, jibing and imbibing. I caught the great photo opp-albeit not a great photo-above, whilst sipping on my Cosmo. A love like theirs makes it awfully hard to hate now, doesn't it? More event pics [here].

Peace, pride, love and equality

Love it, love it, love it, love it and loving it some more =). There is nothing more beautiful than loving freely. I am still a Pride virgin... but I will be at the next one in SF.

true true.. .saw the pics on flickr - not sounding like you came away from there being people drunk... interesting, isn't it? an atmosphere of tolerance, unity and having a good time... oh, yes, isn't that what life is supposed to be about?

Love is love and anyone who experiences it is very fortunate indeed.

Exactly, Kathy! Love is LOVE and it can be an elusive thing, so when people find it, that's cause to celebrate, period!
