Random Thought Thursday (on Friday)

What's Your Disclaimer?

There have been a few happenings in the news and in my life that have brought to light what I've often thought to be true, but seldom outwardly acknowledge-the disclaimer. We all have them, some clearly more egregious than others like Pro-Life Murder, but we all have them, just the same.

Take me for example, there's no mistaking that I've committed myself to walk the eternal path of enlightenment; yoga: yamas, niyamas, the Vedic teachings and more. Yet, I swig, swear and, scoff in the face of authority, conformity and discipline. My disclaimer: I'm a practitioner; the path-much like my practice and progression (and occasional regression) is never ending. I am a work in progress.

And you, what's your disclaimer?
Peace and pensiveness

"I'm a work in progress."

I think that sums it up. I'm adopting yours.

Hmmmmmm... I think my vibes send out a few disclaimers but one that I think always rings true is "an old soul with nouveau-thoughts".

Summing up a disclaimer seems oddly hard to me today....maybe because I'm "stuck" on the visual treat of that sculpture. Maybe it is my disclaimer....my over-open third eye is trying to compensate for a weak 1st-3rd chakras....

The truth is there's a fine line between a "disclaimer" and admitting when one is wrong. I choose to say I follow a path I completely believe in, but am human and so will make mistakes.

When the mistakes are deliberate then one can't fall back on the disclaimer.

Disclaimer: though I sometimes think I know it all...I'm quick to admit I often don't.

Hmmmm, My disclaimer might be something related to the fact that nobody's perfect, but I have a hard time accepting my imperfections.
