My father died an alcoholic, alone, in a makeshift room in the back of a store that he worked in. We hadn't spoken in 4 years, and I'd only seen him about three times from the time I was 10 or 11. The worse thing to live with is regret. Take your time and live with no regrets.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05634096295956313230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-752231699010773376.post-8463594572954039622009-01-18T21:51:00.000-07:002009-01-18T21:51:00.000-07:00That you so much for sharing your story. I hope for both your sakes, that this is the rehab stint that sticks.

I think we all have someone in our lives, past or present, who has some problem like that. For me it was an ex-sister-in-law, who seemed to go out of her way to hurt us when she was high. She is out of our lives now, but the hurt is still there. My mother-in-law speaks of forgiveness, and scolds me when I tell her I can't forgive her. It's such a personal decision - one you have to come to on your own. It will take a long time, but know we are here to listen...

Great big old Cyber-hugs,

KateAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-752231699010773376.post-55709895264214627912009-01-18T06:57:00.000-07:002009-01-18T06:57:00.000-07:00just wishing you the best on your journey through ...just wishing you the best on your journey through it all.

peace.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04995683787366568554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-752231699010773376.post-19562815466044069282009-01-17T22:01:00.000-07:002009-01-17T22:01:00.000-07:00I have no words, just hugs and prayers for healing...I have no words, just hugs and prayers for healing.Lisa Abdul-Quddushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13898431687048520515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-752231699010773376.post-129969039840585032009-01-17T15:00:00.000-07:002009-01-17T15:00:00.000-07:00UgH!
